If the Maze District is a hologram it would require an energy source the like of which we would be well aware of ... unless that energy source is high above the earth ... or deep within the earth's crust. In conventional terms we would need several nuclear stations .. and I mean several.
I want you to consider the following .... let's say you wanted to travel back in time ... you can do that simply by looking through the Hubble Telescope ... what you see is light emitted millions and in some cases billions of years ago ... so to travel back in time you have to bridge that distance gap ... the only way to do that is to travel faster than the speed of light ... within the limits of what we know right now ... but what if there was another way ... well science may have an answer .. it's called a traversable wormhole.
Traversable wormholes would be possible if exotic matter with negative energy density could be used to stabilize them ... Stephen Hawking believes that negative energy densities are possible in nature.
So .. we would need elements we don't have ... and we would need anti-matter ...
Now think about this .... the Upheaval Dome has been estimated to be 150 million years old ... 150 million years ago was a time of great geologic instability ... lots of volcanic eruptions ... a time of mass extinction for flora and fauna ... this is when we lost the dinosaurs ...
What if ... something entered the earth's crust at the site of the upheaval dome ... and let's say it had just navigated a wormhole ... which means it would have had an exotic element/antimatter drive ... of some description ... that would have triggered a local cataclysmic explosion which would have put any atom/hydrogen bomb we have exploded to shame ... it would have triggered large movements in the earth's mantle resulting in mass volcanic activity and general continental movement mayhem ...
Now what if this 'landing' was no accident ... but indeed a necessary cataclysm that would allow the earth to physically evolve to a next stage ... a stage that could support the evolution of a creature that could walk erect ... whose brain capacity was large enough to not just react to stimulus but indeed create stimulus ...
What if that landing was both a trigger but also the equivalent of a computer with a power source ... a computer whose program had a purpose ... a power source that could support hologram generation, cloaking, etc. and what if that program's purpose was still unfolding today ...
If that were true we should be able to find decay traces of exotic elements around the Upheaval Dome and in the immediate vicinity of that area ... those areas would be desolate ...barely supporting life ... but containing unusual concentrations and quantities of heavy elements ... elements like uranium ... gold ... also containing a higher than normal source of hydrocarbons due to the mass devastation of flora .. we would see traces today of geologic upheaval on a scale not seen anywhere else ... and we would find high concentration of dinosaur bones and evidence of mass extinction in the fossil record, etc. ... I couldn't have described the Moab/Canyonlands area better ...
